silk paper and mounted on a green, patterned background. Scroll
paintings feature a cord at the top for hanging, and a wood dowel at the
bottom. The
poem in the upper right corner is written in Chinese characters and
says:
“Chrysanthemums grow above the snow in bounty,
clear and peaceful”
