The Chinese symbols representing long life, Su 壽 and happiness or fortune, Bok 福 are artfully portrayed in modern script, ancient script and stylized script, in mother of pearl on this lovely card case and key-ring set, and it is believed, bring long life and happiness to the bearer of the case. Korea used  the Chinese writing system until the invention of their unique alphabet by King Se-jong in the 15th Century. The inside lid of the stainless case is polished and doubles as a mirror.
